Surfin’ Diamonds

In this hybrid Dj-set performance, records made out of glue coating are played using different set-up during an undefined period of time. Casted on original vinyls, the glue matrices contains more than a reversed version of the side they were molded from. Each piece is unique and will never play the same sound twice for each time the needle read the negative record, informations are being taken away from it.

This project emerged in 2019 and was last performed at the Hybrid’Arts salon (Port-de-Bouc) in 2023.
